CSS width not working for the text input field on this date picker
field.
Saw this in the documentation in hobo-jquery.dryml so added it to
application.dryml
<def tag="input" for="Date">
<hjq-datepicker dateFormat="yy-mm-dd" merge />
</def>
The date field then was the whole width of the section it was in.
Using view source again found that the classes for the input field
were: jqx-date-tag date jexample-jqx-date hjq-annotated
Try as I might to set the width using CSS doing things like: .jqx-date-
tag {color: red; width: 100px;} in application.css the field length
would not get any shorter.
(I set the color to red just to make sure it was selecting correctly
which it was, the red color showed up just fine)
The only thing that worked was putting it right in the tag.
<def tag="input" for="Date">
<hjq-datepicker dateFormat="yy-mm-dd" style="width:70px" merge />
</def>
Would rather do it with a stylesheet though.
