I mean there are no YAML parsers in other languages to my knowledge ?

Yes, exactly. It's not that they are hard to integrate, but would be
nice
if they could be hoboized to an even higher degree...
I have that planned for the metamodel framework described above.
Fx the sidebar plugin could be made to work with the <aside:> tag.
Would be nice to have some ajax rating UI in the DRYML generation when
annotating a model with "ajaxful_rating",
perhaps extending it somehow with some meta-info to indicate on which
pages such rating functionality should show up?
Same idea could be used with taggable I'm sure.
