You are most definitely right.  I generally try to avoid using :through but
this seemed like a good time to use it.

On a side note, I found the two books on the site and they've been a huge
help; would be great if they were linked to in some of the documentation (I
think the only way to get to them is to click "Books" in the main nav).
 Even if just to say "hey, we have free training books".
