I'm sure some people would like to argue as to why this is bad, or it shouldn't be done. I'm not going to get into that argument. That argument is irrelevant. The fact is that it's very, very common. I agree with those who say that we*don't* need to make sure IPv4 works everywhere that IPv6 works. But I think it's an absolute requirement that IPv6 MUST work everywhere that IPv4 works.
