That's why I listed two forward cases.
1) where the ISP delegates some forward space.
2) where the home user has their own.

You're missing another case: where somebody other than the ISP delegates forward
space. Or just s/ISP/DSP;

We have been seriously considering making strong statements that ISPs
should do #1. (but not, require the home user to use it)

Why? I mean it would be nice if they do, but SHOULD? What bad things happen
to me if I don't get to set up the reverse map? Hopefully it won't be because
everybody wants to unknowingly run a mail server all over again :)
