haven't evaluated HNCP's behaviour in unstable and marginal networks yet.
I agree, however this would need to be adressed anyway and irregardless of the chosen IGP that runs alongside it. I mean the IGP working but HNCP failing wouldn't really help the case.

My point is just that I don't see much use in moving away from DNCP (and the current profile) as a transport for HNCP unless there is something better (i.e. supporting asymmetrical cryptography and encryption in a sane way and is proven to work in maginal networks).
