Hello Milton, they have one robot conductor in Japan. But it is useless, as we have plenty human conductors who act like robots anyway, haha ...... up-down-up-up-up I remember a reasonable routineed conductor (also in Bayreuth, Vienna, Munich), who conductd all with gret routine, but he had just one beat. He conducted all kind of rhythm just in one beat, up-up-up. Like fly- catching sometimes ...... as long as these conductors do not disturb the orchestra, they are useful, but if they start "interpreting", hallelujah, forget them.
