Jim, surely many players experienced similar things with a vast variety of horns. Get your horn delaquered properly & relaquered. If you like the horn, it would be worth the investment.
How to proceed in the future ? Wash your hands carefully before touching your horn. Have a small microfibre towell (the very smooth one from your super market !) handy so to whip fingerprints away. The laquer will last much longer. Where do you live ? Near the coast perhaps ? Could cause unexpected things regarding laquer. Keeping the horn & its surface clean is most important #################################################################################### Am 06.12.2010 um 19:32 schrieb Jim McDermott - Spirit FM: > Almost four years ago, I purchased an NR501 Atkinson double horn.
