Hello Elaine,

sometimes conductors are deaf or just hear that what´s in their imagination 
......
(whenever they have one) or what they want to hear ....

They also rehearse the same spots ever and ever & ruin them in every 
performance because they follow their "inner ear".

We have to live with this problem.
