Hello Elaine, sometimes conductors are deaf or just hear that what´s in their imagination ...... (whenever they have one) or what they want to hear ....
They also rehearse the same spots ever and ever & ruin them in every performance because they follow their "inner ear". We have to live with this problem. ############################################################ Am 10.04.2011 um 21:27 schrieb Elaine Braun: > Hi Chris, > > I have an old 8D (serial number starts 69...) and while teaching at the > University of Western Ontario, I played next to a guy with a brass Kruspe. > It was difficult to match and friends said that my sound didn't project off > the stage as well as his.
