"JL" One of my students bought one used. Her parents did not want to pay any more than they had to because they had already bought two other instruments and they did not know if the student would stick to the horn. Fortunately, she did stick to it and continues to play it in college. It is mechanically sound, plays reasonably in tune, and has kept its finish. The sound is a bit darker than US made horns.
