Paul, you are over 60, right. Be happy, if you reach a good g2 above staff. It is enough for you. Why the false ambitiousness ? Muscles don't work that good after 60 no matter how much you practise. Do not look for pieces exceeding your firm range. You will be happier.
It is not a shame, if you will not reach the "stratospheres" any more after completing 60. ============================================================== -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of PAUL HOLT Sent: Friday, November 12, 2004 2:04 AM To: The Horn List Subject: Re: [Hornlist] TIRED AND STIFF LIPS Margaret if you don't mind sharing - how old are you? and what range are you able to cover? I need to take a day off once in a while to recover from heavy playing. I too use the Farkas warm up but _______________________________________________ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe or set options at http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
