I see that Ellen Stone has been identified already, but clicking the
link under the picture to the back of the photo, I see the name Mecklin
Marrow (at least, that's what it looks like to me).  A search on that
name, however, suggest perhaps I am looking for Macklin Marrow,
conductor, composer, performer, producer, and Broadway music director
who would have been about 39 at the time the picture was taken.
According to a 1937 Time Article, he was known as "America's handsomest
symphony conductor"

He may also have been known as Macklin Morrow.
