Hi Jorieke, I've used GPS Tracker (https://www.websmithing.com/gps-tracker/ and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.websmithing.gpstracker), an Open Source application with some server side code. The client will run on Android, iOS and can listen to cheap GPS devices attached to the car's ODBII port.
