Eddie,
We use Google-analytics for all of our web sites. We are very happy with them,
and have been able to get any information we need from their reports. You can
even track PDF and other non-html pages by putting a parameter in the anchor
tag that links to it. You can grant "Administrator" or "View reports" access to
anyone with a Gmail account, and create different "Profiles' or views to the
data. Very potent. And free.
We use ColdFusion-based CommonSpot CMS and add the code to the footer in the
master template. You can use CF to omit the script tag from any page based on
page ID, subsite, keyword or any other attribute you can identify within
ColdFusion or CommonSpot.
And did I mention it's free?

Subject: [houcfug] Coldfusion and Web Stats

Greetings all.

How are ya'll tracking web stats?

There is a way to get some info on webstats via iis logfiles and CF but I'm
looking for something a bit more robust.

WebTrends is nice but it's just way to expensive. It would be great to have
something similar though.

Google Analytics and CF may provide a good solution.

If anybody has worked with Google Analytics I'd be interested in your
impression of it.
