I've got 24x36 prints taken with my 20D (8MP) and printed on my 130 that look really great. I use qimage, which does upressing.
>From my 5D (13mp) prints look even better. A 1024x768 is going to look awful at 24x26 no matter what upressing magic software you use, IMHO. The photos I'm using are non-copyrighted from the internet. I've also heard that I could print the photo out and rescan it higher or print out as 2 transparencies put together (for higher color depth) and then scanned at 300 dpi in order to print out a better poster. I'm trying to figure something out so I don't waste alot of money experimenting. IF none of this works, how does anyone get high enough quality prints from customers?
