Ok...after talk to you great folks here and a number of others, I was
still not convinced of the 130's ability to print an accurate color
output. So I cannot use this printer for proofing, although the BOX,
manual, documentation, even a paper type all points someone thinking
that the color on this thing is DEAD ON...specially with the closed
loop calibration, etc, etc, etc. Well FAR from proof accurate ..so
far. I am waiting on a couple samples still, although the print
makers have warned me of the slight issues still being present.

BUT, I figure I cannot find another 24 inch printer for the price,
and I have been getting a few requests (which brings up another
question on how I should price the print of a 24x36 top res
print)....anyway,
So I thought I could use it for just posters for shows or something
not color dependant. Spray it with that Ghailbt? spray and call it a
day.

So as I follow the guide to install this beast(I say that in a good
way)...I get to install the ink, then the head as the poster picture
ONLY diagram helps me step thru, and it starts doing the head
detection when it ends up taking one of the letter size papers I
loaded, and spits it out with not print on it, and now a FLASHING
head icon on the Black, and the Yellow light blinking. So I read
that this could be either a bad connection or BAD HEAD!

great! Brand NEW printer, brand new heads, yet a bad head...and I was
so carefull on installing and following directions.

One of the reason on the HP was the replacable head feature...Now
that is a great idea for someone who is afraid of the head on a fixed
head system going bad, but if this is a nother wear and tear,
consumable part on the HP 130, and it is possible to have bad heads
from a new head pack...then WOW...did I get screwwwwwed.

On the other hand if I put this in with some weird magic gingle I was
supposed to do when installing or after installing...SOMEONE PLEASE
SHARE THIS!!

So I called Tech support that said 24/7 on most products...after
verifying the product, I get the CLOSEd, SORRY reply.

If someone might know what I can do to revive this head, PLEASE
ADVISE!!!

Or should I expect bad production of heads for the future life of
this printer...or is this a ONE OFF, it only happened to me...Ops
sorry deal!???
