Previously a DJ130 enthusiast, I recently began printing on a Z3100 as well. I love my DJ130, but the Z is a delight to use.
I don't print B&W, but have found the Z color gamut exceptional for a pigment based ink, as vibrant as the dye inks on the 130. I predominantly use the HP satin, but have tested with HP glossy, Hahnemuhle smooth fine art, and HP prof canvas and found them to be beautiful alternative media.
