I have this problem occasionally on a PC with the printer connected via USB, sometimes it's a large print, sometimes a small one. It stops with the print stuck in the printer and the only way to get it out is to reboot the printer (unplug from wall). The only connection I've seen is when I queue up a number of prints, one finally stops and kills the entire queue. But I don;t have the problem nearly as often as you do. I'd like to know the answer to this myself.
