I can not see the logic for HP not to introduce a hybrid between the B9180 and the Z3100 24". One that could compete with the 17" pigment models of other manufacturers. Possibly only with the calibration but without the profiling to keep it competitive in price. 12 inks though. It is one of those stepping stones that leads customers to bigger models. The technology is available. Strong point would be the easy and affordable exchange of heads when necessary. The competition has no answer to that one way or the other. An important issue when head price is compared to printer price, see some discussions about the Canon iPF5000 and Canon's non existing head warranty.
