I dont personally own a 1220 C

but from what I hear its a very nice printer. Standard
Printing of 600 X 600 DPI.
Printing at 2400 X 1200 DPI with photo paper.

Also the loader tray can be fussy. There is a learning curve with it.
Or youll be one of the lucky ones and have no problems.
Typcially problem free for about 1 year so Im told and have read 
else where.

Good Color because of the PhotoREt III Enhanced Color Layering 
Technology.

A family member uses a Laser printer with this technology and loves 
the color from it so there must be something to it.
