Jim, Thanks for the info, I will try both settings you mentioned to see which looks the best before making the printer profile. I use Profile Prism and a Epson 1600 flatbed scanner to make the profiles which does a reasonable job. I am not that technically minded and have just started to understand about making printer profiles so when you mention Dmax target it a little above my head at the moment. Many thank John
