We tried using the Glamour 2, but you get un-even shrinkage and ripples, whether you do it before or after stretching. This shrinkage doesn't happen when coating the front, due no doubt to the ink receptive coating protecting the fabric underneath.
All we do at the moment is spray the back with Scotchguard - waiting to see how that turns out. Paper backing is subject to penetration - I've seen fingers poked through these before they even leave us, sometimes. I agree if we controlled the whole process from print to eventual hanging, it's the way to go. I don't think Printguard alone would offer much as I think it is just a UV protectant.
