Hi, I have no experience with macs, but I do with rips. if your file is large enough you can print from photoshop directly to A1 size, but if the photo file is small to start with then you will get pixelation. For instance I have printed a poster from a 48K file using a rip that I could not have from photoshop without massive pixelation.
