Chocolate is too strong a description, more like slightly magenta leaning towards blue. I ran a K only test strip on my DJ90, using HP Prem Plus Glossy thru Imageprint (the three values are L,A,B), read in spot mode with my Eye-one Spectro (non-reflective black background underneath print): 100% 2.5 .5 -1.9 90% 4.2 .6 -3.2 80% 7.4 .7 -4.8 70% 12.5 .5 -5.2 60% 19.1 .3 -5.4 50% 27.8 .0 -5.4 40% 36.9 -.1 -5.2 30% 48.2 -.3 -4.9 20% 61.3 -.4 -4.5 10% 76.8 -.5 -3.8 0% 93.7 -.7 -3.3 Of course, at 0% I'm measuring paper only. I will agree the "tint" is small enough so that using only K will result in a nice B&W, assuming a satisfactory dither pattern.
