I was able to save a DJ650C with the bad yellow cartridge error. I had seen this error more than once and it was always the yellow cartridge. Used to replace the entire carriage when they were available at big $$. I tightened the screws that hold the PCB and the back of the carriage to the front of the carriage. The unit has been in operation for 2 years with no further problems. Give it a try.
