Hi Apologies if this has already been covered, but I have just scanned through 1200 posts and have given up having not found anything similar.
My 130NR is connected via wired/wireless to my Win XP laptop (2GB RAM). I use Vectorwords (a CAD package) to print from. I tried an A2 rollfeed print that only completed about 1/4 of the print - when the paper ejected, it was for the full A2 size. I had successfully performed an A3 print of same file - it was rearranged to fit better on A2 but no resizing took place (other than the print border and title block). I tried an A2 to A3 resize in the print driver and this also partially printed. The CAD design contained 4 hand rendered bitmaps so is quite large - but as I say, it printed fine on A3 and only fails on A2 having reorganised the layout rather than print size. Printing in fast, normal, best makes little or no difference - the amount of completed print remains constant for the same print quality and very very similar for different qualities. I turned on print preview and the image looks complete - so I don't think the application is having a problem. I will try a print to Acrobat just to check. I once had an issue with my former A3 printer whereby my temp directory was out of disc space, but I have loads of disc space to spool the file to. I have yet to turn off printer spooling just to confirm. Could it be a printer memory limitation ? But why would the A3 print work fine when the A2 failed? Does an inkjet need to rasterise the whole image - surely it can to this on a line(s) by line(s) basis? Any suggestions welcome ?
