I don't understand why a rep from HP would contradict all the advertising they run, plus the specifications listed on their web site, AND (as you correctly state) the decal on the printer itself identifying the printer as a Vivera printer. I'm alarmed to hear that these dyes are so unstable that they fade when exposed to sunlight. The main reason I purchased the DJ 130 was for HP claims of saturated colors that can only be achieved with dyes and their assertions of the exceptional longevity of Vivera inks. There is even a link to Wilhelm Research on the HP site which directs the reader to the very positive tests results achieved with Vivera inks,Odd indeed.
