I'm not sure about transparency paper, but with dark papers the 130 has a
problem
recognizing it at all (too low contrast against the dark background in the
printer). You can
cut it as rectangular as you like, it will spit it out again because it can't
detect the edge.
A good workaround is to tape a (white) paper leader to the backside of the
paper (using
3M's Magic Tape or similar), so that the printer "sees" something white; the
leader should
be the full width of the paper, for me it works if goes about 2cm over the edge
of the dark
paper. Remember to adjust the top print margin accordingly.
Transparency paper might pose a similar problem, so maybe it is worth a try.

needs to be at precisely 90 degrees to the sides. The sheet will be indexed by
the front
edge as it is gripped by the rollers and if it is not cut square to the sides
then the machine
will read that the print may taper off the edge as it is fed.
