That was very nice of your Richard. I will keep all this in mind as I make a decision. It is going to be at least this fall before Epson has an answer for this machine and even then I doubt the permanence will be any where near where this one is. I also know that most of the posts you read are from people having issues and that there are a lot of people out there very happy and working away. There has been a huge number of DOA Z printers though, and an even greater number of people who had rollers and other things replaced. Some of these people I know and respect. The machine is an amazing piece of technology but there is no doubt that there was a lot of sloppyness in production with faulty parts and such. Unfortunately this has become the standard for HP with all their products. I may very well buy one because it is the exact set of features that I want, I haven't decided yet. I'm going to research this a little more and keep my eyes open. Maybe I'm just a paranoid.
