Hi Karl,

I think a lot of the lower end "non professional" profiling packages
do not give the user the right to distribute profiles.

Also most people who will make you a profile for a reasonable fee only
sell it at the price with the agreement that you don't distribute the
profile to someone else "your use only".

That, at any rate, contributes to the environment. The other thing of course
is that part of the profiling job is to create a profile specific to the
characteristics of a single printer. Printers like the 130 with a baseline
calibration feature do make it more useful to share profiles among printers,
certainly.
