Hi Till, I want to make sure I understand the problem. Based on your feedback it looks like the second scan job never gets started and timeout with an error. Sounds like the first scan job hangs the LJ3390. Is this correct?
Does this happen with any Scan Mode - lineart, grayscale or color? Does this happen with USB or network? Are you using flatbed scanning only, no ADF? How about compression - jpeg or none? I don't have a LJ3390 yet and I have not been able to reproduce the problem on a LJ3380. If it fails on the network, I may be able to troubleshoot the problem over the network. -dave -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Till Kamppeter > Sent: Monday, February 19, 2007 12:01 PM > To: hplip-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > Subject: [HPLIP-Devel] Scanning problem with HP LaserJet 3390 AIO > > Hi, > > I am scanning with this device via xsane and I have tested > both via USB and via network. > > The preview scan work fine and has no problems.
