Hello,

I got my HP Business Inkjet 1000 working from Windows. The printer is
connected to my router with a build in print server.
I made nmap to this router and showed me that there is a jetdirect port open
at 9100 but I was not successfull to configure this printer under Linux.
I tried to make hp-setup --port=9100 192.168.1.254 but it only brings a list
with already configured cups printer. One of the two is the config for the
Inkjet 1000 locally connected to this Linux machine which works.
For these facts it's impossible that there is something wrong with the
Hardware or the hplip installation. I guess it's some configuration error.
Can anybody tell me what to do to get the printing also working with Linux?

thx
Thomas
