Hank,

following the instructions here: (issues 2)

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/troubleshooting/printing.html

setup the cups error log to debug, then lets try printing something and see what the cups log says.

start this before you print: tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log

then send the output.

I seem to be able to print the cups test page but when I try to print
from ghostscript I just get blank pages

Hank,

The 1300 series PPD file should work fine with the PSC 1350. You may have some other condition causing this problem. What distro are you using? What version of HPLIP? can you run hp-check and post the output? Also setup cups to loglevel debug,

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/troubleshooting/printing.html

issue 2 for how to do the cups setup.

Then run tail -f /var/log/cups/error_log and try and print and post that output as well. My first thought is that you could have a ghostscript problem. But we'll need the logs to be able to say for sure.

I have been trying to set up a hp psc 1350 printer with hplip. I have
tried both the 1300 and the 1310 ppd file. In both cases only blank
pages are printed. Is there some where I can get the ppd file for this
printer.
