HPLIP brings MLC/1284.4 up and down as needed. This means a MFP can use raw I/O for printing and MLC/1284.4 for scanning M printer : hp:/usb/OfficeJet_5110?serial=CN31QB20W52Q What can I do / what must I do? I have libusb, no raw, no ESP for parport, no ptal part of dmesg: drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 2 if 0 alt 1 proto 2 vid 0x03F0 pid 0x1A11 usbcore: registered new driver usblp to day, I think, the "the up and down" for MLC don't work correctly for "fax send". Please check it again. Thank you. Regards Arno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
