my comments:
cups is installed.
printer is installed with hp-setup (see: hp-toolbox -gg)
but the name of ppds isn't correct:

Question:
Where can I find technical infos
May it be, that your software is for phone and fax
without problems of germany ?
Other analog modem working with PC-software
needs also like a digital modem (ISDN/DSL)
or a analog modem after a digital (PBX)
a driver "capi" (my driver = capi 2.0 from capi.org)
Other problems see hylafax or capi4hylafax
(send fax or mgetty too)
What is the problem of hp-fax in germany other?
