Looks like your papersize selection is set to A4 with the new ppd but was Letter in the older one. Select the papersize in the CUPS printer options page (http://localhost:631/printers) Raghu

The page prints fine, but is transposed to the right 1/8 inch. In the process of troubleshooting, I discovered the CUPS test page does not print on one page, but bits are printed on several (I stop the print job after 3 or 4 sheets.) My form prints off by 1/8 inch, i.e margin is set to .5 inch, but prints .625 inches, making the right margin closer to the edge by the same. I checked the driver and it has not changed in the 3 versions I have locally (1.7.2, 2.7.6, and 2.7.7). I tried an older driver I had downloaded a few years ago from linuxprinting.org, and everything prints perfectly again. My form prints correctly aligned, and the CUPS test page prints correctly on 1 page. I will paste the diff between the 2 ppd files in case anyone here can spot the problem with the driver.
