Hi All,

I would like to apologise to the HPR community for my over zealous
attitude in posting information about the Orca campaign on the HPR home
page today. I would espically like to thank those that reminded me that
I did not allow enough time for the community to provide feedback. The
article has now been removed, and the New Year Show will continue as
planned.

I would really appreciate hearing your feelings on the topic so that we
can get a definite understanding of how the Hacker Public Radio
community wish to use this event. I consider accessible computing and
this project in general a very interesting technical topic, that I
believe is of interest to hackers. With 26 hours of content to fill, I
suggest that it will not place a great burden on us to discuss it from
time to time.

There is however Public Relations value of having the project listed on
the main page when giving the address out on the TWiT network. While the
information would definitely be a good thing for the Orca campaign, it
would do us no harm either to be seen to be coming together for a
"worthy cause".

Anyway, apologies again.

Ken.
