I have spent the last days looking into this. The orca code needs love for sure.

Another big issue is programming
ATK and AT-SPI  interfaces into existing programs. Oraca just uses
these. So for example if libre office does not fully support ATK and
AT-SPI then people will not be able to use it properly. So it is a
much larger problem in the end, you will need to touch many other
packages in many other languages.
