We are looking for a *Splunk Technical Lead/Architect/consultant* to
support world’s leader in providing IT consulting and software services to
the finest global organizations client.

This is *6 Months Contract extendible Position* based in *San Francisco.*



Role: Splunk Technical Lead/Architect/consultant

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6 Months Contract



*Experience*: 6- 8+ yrs.

*Approx. Start date*: immediate

*Position-Specific Requirements:*

The candidate will develop solutions that ingest multiple types of computer
network and host data (specific to security) into a SPLUNK enterprise
deployment, design and build applications within SPLUNK to query and
analyze data, and produce display visualizations that facilitate
understanding of the data.


*Experience Required: *

·         2 or more years’ experience within the past five years using
SPLUNK to analyze collected data

·         Direct experience with Web 2.0 technologies, including JavaScript
and Data Visualization

·         Direct experience with Python

·         Experience with XML

·         Experience with Data Search and filtering functions and methods
(SQL, Boolean, etc.)

·         Ability to produce system process flows, architectures and designs



*Desired, but not required: *

·          Network Security as background (familiar with tools and data)

·          Direct experience with big data (e.g. Hadoop, MapReduce)

·          Familiarity with N-tier architecture/SOA.
