Hello,
I am looking for possible suggestions to improve performance
when searching a large database (over 300k documents).
Performance is pretty good if "uncommon" words are searched
for, but very slow when common words are used (such as
"web" and "pages"). Is there anything I can do to speed things
up, like maybe to limit the maximum results returned? I already
have "backlink_factor" set to 0 (zero). I could add some of
the common words to the "bad_word_list", but it's hard to
predict what they may be. Is there anything else I may have
missed?
Speaking of "bad_word_list", is there any way to have htsearch
return a more informative message than "No matches found"
when a bad word is used?
I am running version 3.1.5...
Thanks,
