I'm not quite sure what you mean by "everything is OK." Do you mean
that you can run htdig fine except when you use those flags? Or do
you mean that the installation went well, but now you have problems
running the program.

This is not IBM's commercial DB2 package. It is the Berkeley DB
package, version 2. (Commonly abbreviated BDB2 or DB2 before IBM did.)

I have not heard of this problem with running ht://Dig under CygWin.
Did you compile it on your machine, or are you installing a binary?
