I'm running on FreeBSD and have htdig and htmerge working fine for 5 domains
on my server. I started running into this trouble when I needed to index a
section of a site that is secured using PHP sessions. I've got the first
part of that worked out but now I'm stuck on this htmerge thing.

No db.docs.index, just the two db.docdb & db.wordlist. When run with -d -s I
get htmerge: Total word count: 21621
