Hi
I've installed htdig on the same machine as the files I will be
indexing so I want to create my index by accessing the local file system
directly. I'm having some problems though.
Here's what I think are the pertinent parts of my conf file:
start_url: http://www.kingsnake.com/forum/robot.html
local_urls: http://www.kingsnake.com/forum/=/y/forum/
local_urls_only: true
robot.html is a file with links to the archives of our forum system.
This is the same file we have used to index the archives from a remote
machine and I know the directories it points to exist.
Here's the condensed output of htdig when I run it (Why can't it find
the directories?):

Why does it think it is being redirected? Something in my apache
config need to be changed? I imagine this could contribute to htdig
not wanting to use the local file system (doesn't think it is local
anymore).
I know this long, but I have spents hours on this and am really stumped.
Any help is greatly appreciated
