Well, some of the discussions about scoring problems in 3.2.0b1 &
3.2.0b2 mentioned wonky things happening with the stars, like no stars
on some results, or more than the maximum number of stars, but that's
very different from all the other reports about stars not appearing at
all in any results, as discussed in FAQ 4.16. I can see, though, how
at first glance one might see them as related.

Those earlier problems with wonky scores are fixed now, so they stay
within bounds, as does the number of stars generated for a score. We have
sporadic reports of other scoring problems, not being controllable by the
scoring factor attributes, but that is yet another matter, and doesn't
cause disappearing stars.

Anyway, the problem you described is indeed a configuration issue, and
not a bug in the current or any other release. I hope the my response
and the FAQ were useful in resolving this.
