I run ht-dig from a script that displays the end of run report and lately, I'm seeing an error report like this:
htdig: Errors to take note of: Unknown host: http://www.techexchange.com/services/RSL.html Ref: http://www.techexchange.com/search-index.html Unable to contact server: http://www.techexchange.com/services/showbran.html Ref: http://www.techexchange.com/search-index.html etc. These pages all exist. They are linked from the main search-index.html page that refers to them. I've seen this kind of report temporarily and it clears up with the next dig. I chalked it up to the hosting web server being slow or network congestion (HT-DIG is on a remote server, different from the one above). However, this time I've done several indexing runs with the same result.
