Hi, I'm running FreeVSD, and have a problem with indexing the site.
The FreeVSD software maps port 80 on the server to port 8080 on the virtual server. This means URLs from outside my server come in as: http://www.mydomain.com However if I try to access my site from _on_ my server, say using wget or lynx, I have to use: http://www.mydomain.com:8080 This means that htdig needs to access the URLs through port 8080, however the resulting data in the database needs to use port 80, since any links in my search results will be used by people from outside my site. Does this make sense? Has anyone else successfully used htdig on a FreeVSD server?
