Try running "rundig -v" so you can see which PDF is causing the error, and then take a closer look at it to see what programs can read it and what can't. The error messages above seem to be what you'd get from pdftotext, so I'm assuming you're using that combined with conv_doc.pl or doc2html.pl to index PDFs. What version of xpdf are you running? If it's not the latest version (see http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/), then try installing that to see if it helps. Also, try running pdftotext manually on the problem PDF file to see if you get the same results. If the latest version of pdftotext fails consistently with a PDF file that you know is good, then the problem isn't with htdig, so you may want to take it up with xpdf's author. -- Gilles R.
