I am running ht://Dig 3.2.0b4 on a Red Hat Linux web server. I have
ht://Dig running as a cron job and lately every other morning I receive
this error:
FATAL ERROR:Compressor::get_vals invalid comptype
FATAL ERROR at
file:WordBitCompress.cc
line:827 !!!
/usr/bin/rundig: line 39: 29799 Segmentation fault $BINDIR/htpurge $opts $alt
So some days it seems to work without hiccups and at other times it stumbles. This is a new server I am setting up to host a 1600 page website. I think this is a wonderful tool but I am concerned because I would like to use this for a client.
I have done research on the web in regards to this error and all I found was there was not much one could do. Please let me know if this is really true and does this mean I can not rely on this search engine on a daily basis. If there is no fix, any suggestions on how to deal with this error.
Thanks in advance,
Andrea Goldstein
