Why? The notification of the bug gave patches to both 3.2.0b3 and 3.1.5 and pointed out that pre-release snapshots of both 3.2.0b4 (which you're complaining about) and 3.1.6 were available. It also pointed out that either a patched 3.1.5 or a snapshot of 3.1.6 was recommended for production servers. Once again... Many people are using 3.2.0bX betas in semi-production environments without problems. Howewever, the *only* release we recommend for a production environment is from the 3.1.x series. The 3.2.0 releases are in BETA. If you experience problems with it, we'd appreciate feedback. But if you're running a production server, we *don't* recommend using a *development snapshot*. The current snapshot of 3.1.6 is a pre-release and we expect that 3.1.6 should be released within a few days. I'd recommend that you give it a try. <http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/> -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
