You don't say what the client needs, but I'd never recommend a beta product for a client unless the beta offers features critical to the intended use. In this case, 3.2 offers phrase searching and significantly more flexible configuration among the big feature gains at the moment. If you don't need phrase searching or other 3.2 features, I highly recommend the pre-release of 3.1.6 (it should be released later this week). The 3.1.x series is the only series recommended for production environments. <http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/> That said, I'm obviously interested to know more about your error--I have not been able to reproduce this particular problem myself. So if you have more information, please let us know. Important details would include whether you compiled the source yourself and how you're updating the databases via cron. (I'm assuming as an update dig, rather than rebuilding from scratch all the time.) How big are your database files? How much free space is there on the disk? -- -Geoff Hutchison Williams Students Online http://wso.williams.edu/ _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
